At ZF Wind Power, we are a global leader in technology-driven manufacturing of on- and offshore wind turbine gearboxes and powertrains and a global service partner. We lead the high-performance onshore market segments with our SHIFT compact modular platform designs. We delivered the world’s first offshore 9.5 MW wind turbine gearbox and, in close cooperation with our partner, delivered the first next generation 15 MW offshore powertrain.
We have the world’s largest installed capacity of MW offshore wind turbine gearboxes. Since entering the wind industry in, we have delivered more than 85, gearboxes, powering over GW wind turbines, covering more than 25% of the total installed capacity of geared-driven wind turbines worldwide. We are looking for a new colleague in our finance department in Lommel, Belgium.

As a Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team of our ZF Wind Power Headquarters in Lommel. From month-end closings to ESG reporting, you will contribute to accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis. Additionally, you will monitor material and operational costs, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
What you can look forward to as Business Controller:
1. Support the Head of BU Controlling in all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closures
2. Prepare and maintain monthly management reports and Power BI dashboards to support business reviews
3. Monitor costs structures across production plants and supporting variance analysis
4. Partner closely with our production facilities across the globe to align financial insights with operational performance and strategic sourcing
5. Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process by consolidating input from across the business
6. Develop and maintain ESG reporting in compliance with CSRD, EU Taxonomy and other relevant standards
7. Look for optimization of processes and systems and translates into actions
Your profile as Business Controller:
8. (Master’s) degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline
9. Relevant work experience, preferably in financial analysis or audit
10. Strong analytical skills and a solid business sense
11. Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on approach, focused on delivering results
12. Proficient in SAP, Power BI and Excel
13. Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, German is a plus
14. Ability to thrive in a matrix organization and multinational environment
