Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in .NET, C#, Azure, API development, and SQL Server. This role combines hands-on software development (50%) with technical leadership responsibilities (50%). You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications while ensuring high code quality and guiding the development team through best practices and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership (50%)
* Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
* Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, performance standards, and maintainability
* Define and enforce development standards, guidelines, and best practices
* Proactively identify risks and implement preventive measures to ensure system reliability and scalability
* Oversee quality control processes across the development lifecycle
* Provide constructive feedback to developers to support skill growth and team performance
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives
Hands-On Development (50%)
* Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET and C#
* Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
* Work with Azure cloud services to deploy and manage applications
* Develop and optimize database solutions using SQL Server
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
* Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 8 years of experience in software development
* Strong expertise in .NET framework / .NET Core and C#
* Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps, etc.)
* Solid experience in API design and development (RESTful services)
* Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design
* Experience with code review processes and quality assurance practices
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
* Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with microservices architecture
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
