team within the R&D department, we are looking for an:
Engineer Processes, Systems & Autodesk Applications
As an Engineer Processes, Systems & Autodesk Applications, you play a key role at the
intersection of engineering, digitization, and software development.
On the one hand, you act as the primary point of contact for our CAD, PDM, and PLM systems, ensuring their high-performance and high-quality operation.
On the other hand, within the Autodesk Application Portfolio (Vault, Fusion, Revit, Fusion Manage, 3ds Max, Inventor, AutoCAD, APS), you develop solutions that make our engineering and drafting processes more efficient.
You analyze and optimize workflows, develop automations and integrations, support users with
daily questions and larger projects, and in doing so contribute directly to the further digital transformation within Reynaers.
Your responsibilities
1. Management and optimization of processes & systems
* You are the first point of contact for the use of CAD, PDM, and PLM systems.
* You support all users with their daily questions as well as with larger projects.
* You ensure the implementation of new applications, guide migration processes and upgrades, and work closely with the various involved departments (R&D, ICT, Operations,…).
* You continuously look for improvements, new technological opportunities, and extensions, and ensure their implementation.
* In larger projects, you act as project leader, responsible for follow-up, progress, planning, and communication.
* You manage and coordinate all internal official technical documents and data, such as mold drawings,revisions, online catalogs, AutoCAD and Inventor templates, etc.
2. Development and automation within Autodesk applications
* You develop scripts, automations, and integrations with Autodesk solutions using AutoLISP, C#, iLogic, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
* You actively contribute to improvements in parametric models, automated drawing output, and data integrations that take our engineering and drafting processes to the next level.
* You analyze, document, and optimize development and drafting processes within the Autodesk Application Portfolio.
* You support drafting experts and developers in applying new working methods and digital tools.
* You follow new developments within Autodesk APS (Autodesk Platform Services) and translate them into practical applications within our organization.
* You work closely with the ReynaCore team on new interfaces and integrations within the AAP.
3. Training, documentation, and collaboration
* You provide the necessary training and onboarding yourself (individually or in groups) regarding systems, processes, and Autodesk applications.
* You create and maintain comprehensive manuals. It is your responsibility to keep all this material up to date and communicate about it, ensuring that all colleagues are always well informed.
Your profile
* You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, (Applied) Computer Science, Industrial Sciences, or equivalent through experience.
* You have several years of experience with PLM,
PDM, and engineering information systems, and you are passionate about further digitization and lean processes.
* You have a strong interest in CAD/CAE processes, product development, and engineering automation.
* You have experience with one or more Autodesk
solutions such as Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit, or Fusion.
You have a solid knowledge of programming languages such as AutoLISP, C#, iLogic, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
* You know AutoCAD and Inventor inside out; knowledge of Vault, Fusion, or other packages is a clear plus.
* Thanks to your project management skills, you ensure that projects are delivered on time and correctly.
* You think in terms of solutions and are able to make decisions.
* You are hands-on and practically minded, while also able to think at an abstract level.
* You have a talent for training colleagues and gain energy from enabling them to work independently thanks to your support.
* You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
* You are willing to travel abroad occasionally.
