District Manager – Wallonia & Brussels
Our client is looking for an experienced and inspiring District Manager to lead and develop a commercial team across Wallonia and Brussels.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring strong execution of the commercial strategy, and coaching a team of field representatives to deliver outstanding sell‑in and sell‑out performance within pharmacies and retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Coaching
Lead, motivate and develop a team of 6–7 Business Developers.
Provide regular field coaching to enhance sales capabilities and performance.
Set clear individual and collective objectives supported by measurable KPIs.
Organise regular team meetings to align on priorities and expected results.
Recruit, onboard and train new team members.
Commercial Development & Strategy Execution
Translate the national commercial strategy into effective actions within your district.
Strengthen relationships with pharmacies and retail partners to maximise product visibility and presence.
Analyse market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Manage commercial budgets and resources allocated to your territory.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Monitor sales performance (revenue, market share, target achievement).
Implement corrective action plans when needed.
Provide structured and regular reporting to senior management.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations.
Sell‑In & Sell‑Out Performance Management
Drive sell‑in by expanding customer coverage, optimising stock levels and building strong distributor relationships.
Boost sell‑out by supporting pharmacies in increasing product rotation and consumer engagement.
Identify performance gaps, propose solutions and challenge existing practices when necessary.
Maintain close communication with the Sales Manager and Country Manager.

Profile:

Experience & Skills
Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing a commercial team, ideally in pharmaceuticals or dermo‑cosmetics.
Strong command of sales techniques, negotiation and commercial strategy.
Solid understanding of sell‑out dynamics, reporting tools and market growth levers.
Ability to manage budgets, merchandising resources and commercial investments.
Fluent in French and Dutch, with a strong command of English.
Personal Qualities
Natural leadership with the ability to inspire, motivate and unite a team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify improvement areas and propose actionable solutions.
Highly organised, structured and rigorous in planning and follow‑up.
Confident decision‑maker with a proactive and solution‑oriented approach.
Ability to influence stakeholders and secure buy‑in.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
