Job Title: QHSE Manager

About the Role
As the QHSE Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellence in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) across the organization. You will combine hands-on quality control expertise with strategic management oversight in a company specializing in designing and manufacturing modular structures for exhibitions, events, and retail environments. Your role will be key in driving continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and fostering a strong culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout all production and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management
Analyze production and operational quality results, identify improvement actions with colleagues, and ensure follow-up.
Maintain and update HACCP or risk analyses applicable to production processes.
Monitor regulatory requirements and industry standards, adapting the quality system as needed.
Develop and implement quality procedures, tools, and inspection methods for manufacturing and assembly processes.
Oversee the quality management system through internal audits, performance indicators, and quality meetings.
Manage audits (internal and external), implement corrective actions, and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure the quality management system remains robust, compliant, and continuously improved.
Safety & Environmental Management
Support initiatives to strengthen safety culture and continuous improvement across production and operational activities.
Act as a backup for the HSE Manager and gradually take increasing responsibility in the role.
Assist in implementing ISO 14001 and integrate environmental best practices into operational processes.
Promote a proactive safety and environmental mindset among all teams.
Management & Strategic Responsibilities
Advise management on strategies related to quality, safety, and environmental performance.
Communicate and promote the QHSE policy across all departments and support management in its implementation.
Drive the development of a strong QHSE culture within the organization.
Design and implement tools, methods, and procedures to achieve QHSE objectives and monitor key indicators.
Lead management and reporting of QHSE KPIs, track weekly progress, and analyze trends.
Monitor and follow up on QHSE action plans, ensuring timely and effective execution.
Prepare management review reports and documentation.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including defining needs, assessing safety and profitability, commissioning, and training.
Maintain ISO, BRC, and other relevant certification documentation, ensuring alignment with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Quality, HSE, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in QHSE management within manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC/IFS, HACCP, and other relevant standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and influence cross-functional teams.
