Team & ContextYou will join a collaborative IT Service Desk team led by an experienced team leader who has been managing the group for over a year. The team currently consists of five members and is looking to expand due to a long-term replacement need. The environment is dynamic, with a strong focus on teamwork, availability, and proactive support.Role OverviewAs a Service Desk Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and smooth operation of IT systems, providing technical support to internal users, and managing daily operational tasks. The role includes monitoring critical systems and handling both routine and exceptional support requests.Key ResponsibilitiesIncident & Request ManagementLog and resolve incidents or escalate to technical experts.Process service requests and liaise with external providers when needed.Provide user support and create documentation for internal tools.System OperationsMonitor and maintain IT systems, including AS400 and Active Directory.Handle daily closing operations and data processing.Manage user accounts, email addresses, backups, and restores.Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.Infrastructure & ToolsInstall and configure software and hardware.Support ongoing migration to Windows 11.Use internal ticketing tools (JIRA can be good).Profile RequirementsExperience: Senior level (5+ years), able to integrate quickly and contribute to team development.Languages: Fluency in French and Dutch is mandatory; English is a plus.Technical Skills:Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, AS400.Strong troubleshooting abilities.Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Online.Soft Skills:Proactive, curious, and motivated.Strong communication and listening skills.Ability to support users under pressure with patience and clarity.Team-oriented and adaptable.Work ConditionsShifts:Morning: 06:30 - 14:30Flexible: Start between 07:00 and 09:30, end between 15:00 and 17:30Evening: 12:00 - 20:00 (includes AS400 closing operations)Shifts are planned by the team based on availability and rotation.No additional compensation for shift hours.Remote Work: Alternating weekly - one week on-site, one week remote.
