ContextWe are looking for an experienced IT System Administrator to join the IT Infrastructure Team responsible for local user support and a small on-premises datacentre hosting business-critical applications, with ongoing cloud migration initiatives.This is a structured, high-security, multicultural environment with strong standards in service continuity, documentation, and compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:Administration of DG-specific infrastructures (file & print services, Remote Desktop Services, hosted applications)Second-level user supportInstallation and configuration of servers, NAS, SAN, and network equipmentPatch management and system configurationInfrastructure and server monitoringIncident, change, request, and problem management (ITSM processes)Backup and restore operationsParticipation in architecture reviewsDrafting technical documentation and operational proceduresImplementation and monitoring of security standardsParticipation in coordination and project meetingsInteraction with business analysts, users, project leaders, developers, and central IT servicesAutomation through scriptingAdvising on capacity planning, IT continuity, security, and optimisation
