Responsibilities:
* Design and develop cloud-native backend services using Java (Mainline) and Spring Boot on a Cloud Foundry-based PaaS platform.
* Deploy and manage applications across data centers (CRZ & CnRZ) and Public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
* Work with Kubernetes/CaaS for containerized and stateful workloads when required.
* Implement scalable data solutions using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and object storage technologies.
* Build and integrate REST APIs via API Gateway and implement asynchronous messaging with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
* Ensure secure communication (WAF) and contribute to modern observability practices using Splunk, Grafana Cloud (OpenTelemetry), and Icinga.
* Contribute to a scalable microservices architecture following cloud-native best practices.
Requirements:
Must Have Skills:
* 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
* Strong experience with Java
* Solid experience with Spring Boot
* Hands-on experience with MongoDB
* Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
* Experience working in microservices architectures
* Understanding of distributed systems
* At least B2 German Level
Nice to Have:
* Experience with Hexagonal Architecture
* Experience in cloud-native environments (Cloud Foundry / Kubernetes)
* Experience in financial or accounting systems
