Position overview
Are you interested in learning more about Procurement in the world leading industrial coating resins company? We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our team. You will primarily work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to provide technical Equipment & Services at best TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and steer European wide projects for special categories. You will also manage local relationships with plant managers, maintenance managers and operational people.

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for long term assurance of supply, supplier performance and selection, supply management information/data management.
2. Understand the goals of the procurement team, co-develop, maintain, and, execute sourcing strategies for the assigned supplier & category portfolio.
3. Set savings plan, (improvement) targets and monitor suppliers performance.
4. Lead contract and price negotiations for the assigned supplier & category portfolio to meet saving target.
5. Ensure frequent communication with internal customers, suppliers and third parties to update material price information and define the cost-effective pricing structure.
6. Work closely with multiple teams (like Maintenance managers, logistics Supply Chain or, production & the EMEA procurement team) to meet business requirement or any new project target.
Required skills and experience
7. 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain management in a multinational company.
8. Ability to perform market, supplier and product analysis.
9. Ability to present data in an organized, clear and concise manner.
10. Good negotiation & contracting skills as well as hands-on mentality.
11. Good local language knowledge and English, both writing and reading.
12. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of SAP and Ariba systems would be considered as a plus.
Qualifications
13. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Management or Purchasing.
