We are currently supporting a leading engineering organisation on a key industrial project and are looking to engage experienced Mechanical Piping Designers/Engineers on a freelance/contract basis.

The Role
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team, supporting the design and integration of piping and ducting systems within an existing industrial facility. The position requires strong collaboration on-site to ensure designs are aligned with ongoing installation and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop piping and ducting systems using Autodesk Inventor
* Work with point cloud / 3D scan data to integrate designs into existing environments
* Collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to ensure consistency and quality
* Support project delivery through accurate, buildable designs
Key Requirements
* Proven experience with Autodesk Inventor (essential)
* Strong experience working with point clouds / 3D scan data (essential)
* Background in piping and ducting design
* Experience with sheet metal design is beneficial
* Knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

* Location: On-site (5 days per week required)
* Start Date: ASAP
