Join a dynamic cybersecurity team at the core of national security operations. As a NOC/SOC Team Leader, you will take a critical role in safeguarding data and systems, leading a team of first responders in monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats. You will coordinate incident response efforts, enhance threat detection capabilities, and proactively contribute to the resilience of IT infrastructures. This position requires technical excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
1. You will lead the SOC team, managing day-to-day operations, coordinating incident responses with the CISO and crisis teams, and guiding team members in their professional development.
2. You will act as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity incidents, designing and implementing effective response procedures, ensuring 24/7 system and network monitoring, and producing incident documentation including lessons learned and post-mortem reports.
3. You will proactively prevent IT security problems by maintaining and optimizing security controls across various environments, including on-premise and cloud systems.
4. You will utilize tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls to detect, analyze, and mitigate threats, while ensuring security process efficiency and real-time threat response.
5. You will conduct log analyses and vulnerability assessments, swiftly resolving security issues and reinforcing the organization’s defensive posture.
6. You will ensure full compliance with security legislation and internal policies, manage cryptographic systems including certificate lifecycles, and apply advanced reporting techniques to inform stakeholders.
7. You will provide expert support to internal departments by supplying insights into ICT infrastructure and staying current with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.

Technical Skills and Qualifications
8. You have thorough knowledge of IT security, including software, hardware, and network protection mechanisms.
9. You have solid experience in incident management, particularly within SOC, CSIRT, or CERT environments, and are familiar with governance processes for structured and effective incident response.
10. You have practical expertise in cloud security, including conducting vulnerability assessments and applying protective measures across cloud environments.
11. You have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and modelling techniques, especially TOGAF and ArchiMate.
12. You have excellent oral communication skills, enabling you to coordinate clearly and effectively with both technical teams and stakeholders.
13. You have a high level of personal motivation and commitment, which are essential qualities for thriving in this demanding and high-responsibility role.
14. You have at least +5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity architecture and design.
15. You speak fluent in Dutch And French, English is a plus
Prerequisites
You have obtained, or are eligible to obtain, security clearance at Secret (EU and National) level, which is mandatory for this position.
16. You have a proven ability to handle sensitive and classified information with the highest levels of integrity and discretion.
17. You have up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, trends, tools, and best practices, ensuring your ability to respond effectively in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.

Votre profil
25. You have at least years of professional experiences in IT security: Thorough knowledge of software, hardware and network security.
26. If you are at least fluent in FR/NL WITH ENG It`s a plus
