We are looking for a Data Business Analyst to act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and data teams, ensuring that data solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
You will play a central role in transforming business requirements into high-quality data products, from reporting to advanced analytics.
Your Responsibilities
Business & Data Translation
Translate business needs into detailed data requirements (KPIs, data mapping, transformation logic)Ensure alignment between business expectations and data solutions
Data Analysis & Modelling
Perform in-depth data analysis using SQL (including complex joins and data profiling)Contribute to conceptual and logical data modelling for scalable data architecturesWork with modern data platforms such as Google BigQuery and data warehouse environments (Star/Snowflake schemas)
Documentation & Governance
Produce clear and structured documentation (BRDs, Functional Specifications, data lineage)Contribute to data governance by maintaining data dictionaries and metadata
Quality & Testing
Define and execute test plans to ensure data accuracy and consistencyLead root cause analysis and resolve data quality issues or pipeline discrepancies
Your ProfileBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or ITExperience xlxgzvr as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a consulting environmentStrong SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses (BigQuery is a strong asset)Solid understanding of data modelling and ETL processesAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Experience with SAP BW (InfoCubes, DSOs, BEx)Knowledge of data extraction from SAP environmentsExperience in retail or service-driven environments
