Your new role
As a Consumer Engagement Specialist, you’ll play a central role in executing consumer- and patient facing communication initiatives across Belgium and Luxembourg. Combining analytical thinking with creative execution, you’ll leverage consumer and patient insights, develop and execute digital campaigns, and measure their effectiveness – contributing to integrated communication efforts in close collaboration with colleagues in Communications, Business Development, Marketing, Sales and Medical. This is a role where data meets creativity, and cross-functional collaboration is at the heart of everything you do.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Analyzing healthcare professional and patient insights to inform communication strategies, improve corporate & brand positioning, and identify emerging trends and opportunities.
* Measuring the effectiveness of campaigns by defining clear KPIs, developing metrics & benchmarks, and translating insights into actionable recommendations to enhance impact and return-on-investment.
* Coordinating and curating digital materials across omnichannel touchpoints, including online communications, social media, and campaigns, ensuring alignment across functions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
* Identifying optimal communication channels based on customer segmentation and personas
* Executing social media and public-facing web platform strategies by implementing local and global campaigns tailored to specific audience demographics.
* Supporting strategic business development efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and contributing to proposals and presentations.
* Ensuring all marketing communication activities are executed in full alignment with legal, industry regulations, and internal Novo Nordisk policies, upholding the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct.
Your new department
Within Novo Nordisk BeLux, you’ll join a dynamic team of 85 colleagues dedicated to making our therapies accessible across the Belux market. You’ll be part of the Customer Excellence department, collaborating closely with colleagues across Communications and Sustainability, the Commercial Unit (Marketing, Sales, and Business Development), Legal & Compliance, Medical, and regional teams. You’ll play a key role in bringing our consumer marketing communication strategy to life at the local level.
As part of International Operations, you will join our largest operational unit. Covering 194 countries. More than 18,000 of us work passionately to serve 35 million patients each day.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a creative, analytically minded, and consumer-driven professional who thrives at the intersection of digital marketing, patient insights, and measurable impact, and who is eager to make a real difference in how people connect with their health. You should bring:
* Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
* A confirmed first experience in consumer marketing, or digital advertising in a fast-paced consumer environment.
* Strong interest in digital advertising platforms and tools, with a curiosity to learn and drive online campaigns while analysing relevant metrics.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret consumer and campaign data, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and connect initiatives to measurable business outcomes
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with a creative and curious mindset to design compelling advertising and promotional image or video content, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
* Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to changing market conditions, solid project management abilities to manage multiple campaigns,
* Fluency in English and Dutch or English and French (trilingual is an asset)
