Wholesale Manager Belux
Fulltime, Home-based with national travel
Farm Frites is continuously working to expand its global position in the food service market. To help realise our growth ambitions, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Wholesale Manager.
Your Role
The Wholesale Manager is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for the wholesale channel within the scope. This includes managing relationships with national and regional wholesalers, increasing product availaility, driving volume growth, and ensuring optimal activation and visibility of the Farm Frites portfolio within the wholesale environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
Wholesale Strategy & Channel Development
1. Develop and implement the wholesale channel strategy within scope.
2. Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across national and regional wholesale partners.
3. Strengthen Farm Frites’ presence in cash & carry, delivery, and foodservice wholesale.
4. Expand distribution and drive sustainable volume growth within the wholesale channel.
Relationship & Account Management
5. Build, maintain, and grow strong partnerships with key wholesale customers (national and regional).
6. Negotiate annual agreements, pricing, rebates, promotions, and distribution targets.
7. Conduct annual and quarterly business reviews with wholesale partners.
8. Ensure consistent execution of commercial plans and marketing activations.
Commercial Execution
9. Manage listings, product introductions, and assortment optimisation within wholesale accounts.
10. Coordinate and implement promotional activities, POS materials, and in-store activations.
11. Monitor pricing strategies and ensure competitive positioning across wholesalers.
12. Drive visibility and performance in cash & carry stores through regular visits and audits.
Market & Data Analysis
13. Analyse wholesale trends, category dynamics, and competitor activities within scope.
14. Monitor customer performance, stock levels, product rotation, and margins.
15. Provide channel insights and recommendations to the Country Manager / Sales Director and wider sales team.
16. Utilize data tools to support decision-making, forecasting, and business planning.
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration
17. Work closely with marketing, supply chain, customer service, and finance teams.
18. Align demand planning and forecasting with logistics and operational departments.
19. Support Field Sales teams and distributors with channel-specific guidelines, tools, and training.
Reporting & Administration
20. Report regularly on wholesale performance, opportunities, risks, and competitive movements.
21. Maintain accurate customer information, contracts, and activities in the CRM system.
22. Contribute to annual budgeting, sales planning, and volume forecasting.
Your team
You will be part of our Sales team and will report to the Country Manager / Sales Director.
Your Requirements
Education and Experience
23. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or equivalent experience.
24. Minimum of 5 years’ commercial experience in foodservice, FMCG, or wholesale.
25. Proven experience managing wholesale accounts.
26. Strong knowledge of the wholesale environment (cash & carry, foodservice distributors, delivery wholesale).
