Our global headquarters are based in Brussels, Belgium.The OpportunityWe are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Sales Manager to own and grow the Belgium market. Operating from the Belgian office, you will be the face of Voted Product and Brand of the Year for Belgian brands, building lasting relationships with marketing and innovation leaders across FMCG, retail, and consumer goods.This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role. You will manage the full sales cycle — from prospect identification to contract close — with the freedom of an independent contractor and the backing of an internationally recognised award programme.Your ResponsibilitiesSales execution (primary focus)
- Own and execute the full sales cycle in Belgium: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing
- Conduct active market monitoring: trade press, consumer media, TV, social networks, store checks, and online channels to identify new product launches and prospects
- Drive proactive outreach through direct prospecting, digital channels, and third-party support (phone, email campaigns)
- Convert leads into clients by crafting tailored, value-driven proposals aligned with each client's communication strategy and innovation objectives
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets within each annual campaign cycle
- Manage and grow an active client portfolio, maximising retention and upsell opportunities
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene: log all client activity, pipeline stages, and opportunities in real time
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales Benelux on sales strategy, action plans, and performance reviews
- Share market intelligence and competitor insights to continuously sharpen the commercial offerPost-sale and marketing support (once sales targets are met)
- Coordinate with the MarCom & Support team at global headquarters on communications planning
- Assist in developing sales collateral: brochures, leaflets, pitch decks, and digital assets
- Manage post-sale client satisfaction and provide support on award-related questions and reporting
- Oversee winner follow-up: capsule coordination, logo usage reviews, and marketing content consolidation
- Support the preparation and coordination of the annual awards ceremonies, with a focus on client management
- Contribute to market intelligence, business intelligence reports, and competitive benchmarking throughout the marketing cycleYour ProfileExperience & knowledge
- Bilingual Dutch & French speaker; fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proven B2B sales track record, ideally in FMCG, retail, media, or marketing services
- Strong understanding of the Belgian retail and consumer goods ecosystem
- Comfortable with data: able to read market reports, analyse sales KPIs, and interpret marketing metrics
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and GDPR compliancePersonal attributes
