Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Freelance Data Analyst to support financial and operational data analysis within a structured business environment. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, generating insights, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze financial and operational data (e.g., General Ledger, vendor, labour, and cost data)Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistencyProduce reports and dashboards to support business decision-makingConduct regular data quality checks and resolve discrepanciesCollaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholdersSupport budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate data insightsDocument reporting processes and methodologiesIdentify opportunities for improving reporting and data processes
Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Data Analyst or similar roleStrong SQL and advanced Excel skillsExperience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Familiarity with financial data and reporting structuresStrong analytical thinking and attention to detailAbility to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work independently in a part-time capacity
