For one of our partners located near Brussels, we are looking for an IT/OT Expert to support and optimize critical shopfloor systems within a GMP‑regulated environment.

Your Responsibilities
As an IT/OT Expert, you will act as a key point of contact between production, engineering, quality, and IT teams. Your mission will be to ensure the robustness, compliance, and continuous improvement of IT/OT systems.
Operational Support & System Reliability
* Ensure the optimal daily operation of IT/OT systems used in manufacturing environments
* Perform proactive maintenance, troubleshoot incidents, and support end‑users on the shopfloor
* Manage system lifecycle activities including upgrades, changes, and improvements while minimizing operational impact.
Project Support & Deployment
* Contribute to the implementation, integration, and deployment of new IT/OT solutions and automation technologies
* Provide technical expertise during design, planning, and execution phases of improvement projects
* Coordinate internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure compliant execution of project activities.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Collaborate closely with production, engineering, CSV, quality, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment on IT/OT needs and solutions
* Facilitate communication between local site teams and global/regional partners when required .
Risk Management & Compliance
* Ensure systems comply with GMP, Data Integrity, and relevant regulatory expectations
* Support audits, inspections, and risk mitigation activities related to IT/OT systems
* Contribute to initiatives related to cybersecurity and system governance.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
* Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and user experience
* Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across teams.
Your Profile
* You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, engineering, automation, or a related technical discipline
* You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT/OT role within an industrial environment—ideally pharmaceutical or other regulated industries
* You have a good understanding of GMP/GxP, Data Integrity principles, and validation expectations (CSV)
* The knowledge of shopfloor technologies (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, MES) is a strong advantage
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
* You are fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
