For an European institution in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a Senior Product Owner with project management experience.
Candidates need to be based in Belgium or willing to relocate to Brussels when coming from abroad.
Candidates need to be fluent in English. A work permit is required, but not provided. This position is open for contractors.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Act as the final authority on priorities, business value, and functionality within the Agile team;
* Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria;
* Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and ROI;
* Propose solutions by combining IT tools with business process improvements;
* Participate in Scrum ceremonies, support sprint planning, and review deliverables;
* Organize product demos and facilitate business acceptance of delivered features;
* Support testing standards, progress reporting, communication, and defect resolution;
* Contribute to project governance activities including planning, risk management, stakeholder mapping, and reporting;
Profile:
* Bachelor or Master degree;
* +15 years of IT experience;
* +5 years of Product Owner experience;
* +10 years of experience in project management and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean Agile);
* +10 years of experience in meeting facilitation and 5 years of hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft Office;
* Proven track record as a Product Owner, with mandatory experience in the healthcare domain;
* Strong expertise in CRM practices, stakeholder mapping, and customer segmentation analysis;
* Experience in developing adoption dashboards and reports, along with knowledge of change management frameworks (PM2 is a plus);
* Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner and ITIL Foundation (or equivalent);
* Fluency in English;
