Tasks
The person hired will be expected to, among other things:
1. Conduct research in digital law in the framework of research contracts for external sponsors (Public Services, DG, European Commission, etc.). The current project for which the candidate is being considered is related to cybersecurity, cybercrime and incident management in these areas.
2. Involvement in the activities of the center (take part in meetings of the centre, collective research projects, continuous education programs, etc.).
Profile
The person should:
3. hold a Master 120 in law;
4. show an interest in data protection, cybercrime and open data, including knowledge of anonymization/pseudonymization aspects;
5. have a strong interest in scientific research;
6. be able to establish, as part of his/her course of study, a deeper understanding of the subject matter;
7. be able to work independently while being part of a research team;
8. have a perfect command of French, a minimum B2 level in English and a good knowledge, at least passive, of Dutch;
9. have good writing skills in French (very good) and English (good);
10. demonstrate an ability to work in interdisciplinary research;
11. be able to work in an environment with defined time constraints.
