Sulzer España is looking for a Senior Sales Manager who will further develop the client base and drive business growth in Spain. One of Sulzer España´s major objectives will be to strengthen the company’s competitive position and profitable business expansion.

Your Responsibilities
* Operational Sales Execution: Take full ownership of the entire sales process — from identifying and qualifying leads, over conducting consultative client meetings, to creating tailored proposals and closing deals.
* Customer Engagement & Advisory: Develop a deep understanding of your prospects’ business models and pain points. Act as a trusted advisor, working collaboratively with potential clients to craft value-driven solutions using Sulzer’s offering.
* Client Growth & Key Account Development: Turn initial wins into lasting partnerships. Grow newly acquired clients into strategic key accounts through continuous engagement and value delivery.
* Market Insights & Trend Identification: Stay on top of industry developments and market shifts in the Spanish IT landscape. Use these insights to identify sales opportunities and adjust your go-to-market approach.
* Strategic Contribution: As a founding member of our Sulzer ES sales team, your input will directly influence how Sulzer ES expands its presence in the region. You’ll work closely with leadership to define and refine our regional sales strategy.
Your Profile
* You have a degree in business, engineering, IT, or a related field — or comparable professional experience in the tech sector.
* You bring several years of hands-on sales experience in software solutions or IT services, ideally in a high-velocity or consultative B2B environment.
* You’re both strategic and execution-oriented — comfortable thinking long-term while delivering short-term results.
* You’re a confident communicator in Spanish and English, and can engage credibly with technical and business stakeholders alike.
Technical Expertise (Ideal)
* Knowledge of integrations, APIs, microservices, monolithic and modern software architectures (Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React, VUE.js, serverless) and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
* Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud, plus AI use cases in analytics and automation.
* Modern Data Management – Knowledge of cloud data trends, system integration challenges, and AI use cases that unlock business value across industries and company sizes.
* End-to-End Cloud-Based SAP Architecture – Deep understanding of integration, extension, and analytics through SAP S/4HANA Cloud, BTP, and SAC.
* Expertise in automation, predictive analytics, and cloud-first SAP architectures
