We are looking for a sales-driven General Manager for Mobius Benelux focused on placing reusable construction products on the market in the construction industry.
As the General Manager, you will co-launch this venture with One Planet Studio and its partners. You will gradually develop a network within the construction ecosystem to coordinate and supervise the collection of materials from our partners and customers (from the deconstruction sites to our production warehouse in Brussels), act cost-consciously and bear responsibility for achieving the company objectives (revenue & decarbonization).

What you will do?
The General Manager will have operational responsibilities regarding Business Development, HR, Finance and Legal:
Sales/Business Development:
* Lead the sales initiatives that will contribute to achieving the sales targets, as part of the roll-out of the defined strategies
* Search for opportunities to build a pipeline of new accounts and check the technical and financial feasibility.
* Manage and increase market share.
* Responsible for identifying opportunities and developing a short and middle-long-term business plan to reach the organizational strategy.
* Identification of opportunities and threats
* Co-create the communication strategy tools to represent the company in a successful manner in the country.
* Setting up long-term partnerships (sales channels, logistics…)
* Build a strong network over time and negotiate with key stakeholders, such as sector organizations & contractors.
* Representation role at sector conferences and information sessions
* Report once a month on the status of the business development actions.
* Develop the sustainability frameworks for construction (eg. CO2 performance, EU Taxonomy), with a focus on understanding and influencing these frameworks, including the incentive mechanisms such as carbon credits/offsets.
HR
* As a people manager, follow up on the status of the team with regard to prospection, feasibility studies, right partnerships…
* Coach and stimulate the team to reach the targets.
Finance:
* Responsible for the country budget, in line with the guidelines of the HQ financial department.
* Facilitate cooperation of the HQ financial department with local financial advisors, banks & insurance.
What you will bring to the table

You bring experience in:
* At least 4 years’ experience in B2B Sales
* Experience and/or network in the construction industry (main client market)
You have following competences:
* Strong leadership skills – Team management skills and ability to motivate and supervise
* Sales – vision & ability to bring a compelling message & communicate it to diverse audiences
* Ability to establish and maintain professional relations with various partners
* Previous experience in logistics, construction or similar.
* Technical knowledge of materials and reconditioning practices.
* Project Management – experience in managing large & small projects in a professional way
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively
* Account Management – experience with SLA’s, contract management & financial management/accounting
* Team Building – gathering a complementary & talented team focused on results
* Stress tolerance – comfortable with uncertainty & risk that is inherent to a startup
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
* Languages – Dutch & French (either Dutch or French is a must)
* Mastery of IT tools and management software
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* Driving License required
* Knowledge of safety standards relating to worksites and transport (Bonus: having a VOL-VCA certificate)
