The Role: AR Accountant – Finance Meets Operations
As AR Accountant, you’ll be part of an 8-person finance team managing accounting for our Belgian and Dutch entities. You’ll work especially closely with a cross-functional billing taskforce (approx. 4 people) and support both daily operations and continuous improvement in finance processes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Daily follow-up of the billing process (project-related and soil invoicing), in close collaboration with operations, logistics, and admin
* Creating and managing customer files and project setups in the ERP system
* Supporting controlling and accounting:
* Booking of accounting entries
* Financial transactions
* Preparing and updating financial tables for reporting
* Acting as a link between departments to ensure financial accuracy and timely invoicing
What we’re looking for
* A higher degree in finance/accounting (minimum bachelor in accountancy)
* Professional experience in AR, accounting, project admin, or controlling
* Full professional fluency in French and Dutch (English is a plus)
* Excellent organizational and administrative skills
* Accuracy, structure, and a methodical way of working
* Proactive problem-solving mindset
