Accounting Manager
Location: US, France, Belgium, or UK (with existing right to work)
International Management Solutions (IMS) is an accounting and consulting firm focused on supporting European companies and their US subsidiaries. We are expanding and seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team and manage a growing portfolio of clients.

The Role
You will manage a client portfolio or demonstrate the ambition and readiness to grow into this level of responsibility. You’ll take ownership of their monthly and annual accounting needs, ensuring accurate, timely, and client-focused service delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading client relationships and communications
Reviewing and reconciling balance sheet accounts
Overseeing bookkeeping, monthly close, and general ledger accuracy
Preparing timely, high-quality management accounts
Supervising and reviewing payroll
Coordinating year-end closing to meet management and tax requirements
Providing accounting and tax-related support
Coaching and reviewing work from junior staff and associates
What You Bring
3–5+ years' experience in a public accounting or advisory firm
Experience managing a portfolio of clients in an accounting company
Solid understanding of accrual accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting
Confident using tools such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Xero, and Excel
Excellent communication, time management, and client service skills
Interest in US tax or international advisory is a plus
