EMEA Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a global leader in power solutions to appoint a high-caliber Head of Product Strategy & Technical Insights for their EMEA and Asia operations. This is a pivotal leadership role within our R&D organization, designed for someone who can bridge the gap between complex engineering and market-winning consumer products.
As the primary technical voice for these regions, you will define how our technology is perceived by the market, ensuring every product claim is backed by rigorous data and every innovation is driven by real-world consumer needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the technical product roadmap for E&A and Asia, ensuring global platforms are optimized for regional market demands and regulatory standards.
* Act as the lead R&D consultant to the Regional Commercial Leadership team, shaping the future portfolio and innovation priorities.
* Represent regional interests in global governance forums, influencing long-term technology platforms and communication frameworks.
* Lead the integration of consumer behavior data into technical product design and performance benchmarks.
* Architect the regional strategy for competitor benchmarking and trend analysis (electronics, energy systems, and sustainability).
* Oversee the regional claims substantiation process, ensuring scientific rigor and consumer-facing relevance for all product launches.
* Translate innovation milestones into high-impact technical narratives for global stakeholders.
* Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of managers and specialists, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
* Serve as the strategic integrator between Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
Who You Are
* Master’s or PhD in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related technical discipline).
* 10+ years of progressive experience in R&D, Product Management, or Technical Insights, preferably within CPG or Consumer Electronics.
* Extensive experience leading managers and managing complex, multi-market innovation programs.
* You excel at "translating" deep technical data into clear, actionable business strategies for non-technical senior executives.
* Comfortable navigating matrixed organizations and multicultural environments.
* Ready for international travel (approx. 20-25%).
