Responsibilities
1. Working in a matrix environment, the person will drive sales growth of Chemistry Consumables products, both objectively and collaboratively in the Belgium and Netherlands.
2. Identify new prospect companies within your territory and develop a strategy to engage and introduce them to the Waters consumables portfolio.
3. Investigate dormant accounts in order to re-stimulate growth.
4. Increase market share in up and coming accounts building advocacy for Waters consumable technology through customer success.
5. Meet daily and weekly productivity metrics (phone calls, phone attempts, e-mail .
6. Work closely with your field sales colleagues, capital sales colleagues, business development and marketing to deliver a high degree of customer service and technical expertise.
7. Utilizing Waters’ internal CRM database as a tool for tracking sales activities, open opportunities and campaign follow-up initiatives..
8. Delivering concise and relevant reports and updates on business development initiatives.
9. Occasionally traveling to the specified sales territory to support customer visits, seminars, internal planning meetings etc.
Qualifications
Education:
10. Bachelors Degree, Masters, or PhD in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
Experience:
11. Advantageous to have experience with technical sales, particularly in Chemistry Consumables.
12. UPLC, Mass Spec, field sales and/or marketing is a plus
13. Market experience is a plus
