High Voltage Line / Fiber Optic Line Supervisor –

We’re looking for an experienced High Voltage Line / Fiber Optic Line Supervisor to oversee the assembly and maintenance of high-voltage aerial lines and fiber optic networks in the Bruges/Flanders area.

Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead on-site teams working on high-voltage lines, fiber optic lines, and high-voltage substations.
* Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of work.
* Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair operations according to safety and quality standards.
* Ensure full compliance with safety procedures and technical regulations.
* Participate in monthly coordination meetings and provide progress reporting (approx. 25% of time).
* Spend around 75% of working time on-site, ensuring operational excellence.
Requirements
* 2–10 years of experience with a contractor or subcontractor in the high-voltage sector (experience with ELIA projects is a major asset).
* Solid understanding of high-voltage aerial line work; experience with cables is an advantage.
* Educational background in Electricity (minimum A2 or Bachelor level, technical orientation preferred).
* Valid BA5 electrical safety certification (can be updated by employer).
* Physically capable of climbing pylons and working at height.
* Strong communication and coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Fluency in Dutch required; English or French is an asset.
* Autonomous, reliable, and safety-oriented professional mindset.
