HQSE Coordinator
and participate in the continuous improvement of our operations across all our sites.
Primary role:
To steer and strengthen our HQSE initiatives by ensuring compliance, the reliability of indicators and the application of standards. You will assist Weerts Supply Chain in implementing best practices, support the teams and participate in our cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
Main responsibilities:
1. Quality management and compliance
2. Manage and continuously improve the quality management system, while ensuring its dissemination and adoption within the company.
3. Monitor regulatory and legal developments (ISO, HACCP, environment, etc.).
4. Participate in the development, drafting and updating of procedures and operating methods.
5. Continuous improvement and performance monitoring
6. Implement initiatives integrating quality, personal and food safety, environment and energy,
7. Monitor HQSE indicators and contribute to their reliability,
8. Lead and structure continuous improvement initiatives contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
9. Audits and risk management
10. Organise internal and external audits and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
11. Raise awareness and train teams in best practices.
12. Coordinate HQSE initiatives with operations to strengthen a 'Safety and Quality Culture'.
13. Operational support and awareness
14. Design and lead projects related to Quality, Health and Environment, ensuring their end-to-end management.
15. Guarantee quality excellence for customers and represent the company in key discussions.
Qualifications:
* Qualification in quality (auditor) and ideally experience in safety or the environment,
* Two to four years' experience in HQSE, ideally in logistics, transport or the food industry,
* Knowledge of ISO standards and ideally HACCP standards,
* Commitment to continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, etc.),
* Rigorous, organised and analytical,
* Good teaching skills and ability to work with operational teams,
* Professional knowledge of Dutch and/or English,
* Ideally, proficiency in HQSE tools and methods for analysing and monitoring non-compliance.
