We're working with a fast-growing SaaS company based in Bruges, seeking a skilled PHP Developer to improve its development team. Specialising in logistics software, the company builds smart tools used by logistics firms across Europe to streamline everything from fleet tracking to warehouse operations.
This is an opportunity to join a close-knit team that values practical problem-solving and genuine collaboration/growth.
You will work on the development and evolution of the company’s web-based platform. This includes both backend logic (PHP, Laravel) and front-end user interfaces (PHP, JavaScript). You will work closely with product owners and fellow developers to build new features, improve performance, and contribute to product strategy.
This is a role for someone who enjoys full-stack development, but with a strong foundation in PHP and Laravel, and solid experience on the front-end using Vue.js and modern JavaScript.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain scalable backend features using PHP (Laravel)
* Develop clean, responsive front-end interfaces using Vue.js, JavaScript, and modern HTML/CSS
* Collaborate with the product team to translate business needs into technical solutions
* Participate in code reviews and help uphold high standards of code quality and performance
* Help optimise and modernise parts of the existing codebase
* Contribute to ongoing architectural decisions and process improvements
Your Profile
* Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel
* Proficiency with Vue.js, modern JavaScript, and front-end best practices
* Comfortable working with APIs, relational databases, and version control (Git)
* Experience with agile methodologies and modern CI/CD tools is a plus
* A team player with a proactive mindset and good communication skills
* Passion for building robust, user-friendly web applications
