Your team
As a Senior .Net Software and DevOps Engineer, you’ll join the Software Development team, as part of the Product Development organization. Product Development consists of specialized teams that focus on a specific domain such as demand and supply planning, user experience, data science, integration, solvers, and more. These teams drive our product road map, share OMP’s vision and expertise, and create smart, robust, and scalable software solutions that solve our customers’ complex supply chain planning challenges.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another relevant field. Alternatively, the equivalent by experience.
2. 4+ years of professional software engineering and DevOps experience
3. Good knowledge of object-oriented programming.
4. Profound knowledge of the C# language and the .Net Core framework.
5. Passionate about writing high-quality software.
6. The eagerness to learn and stay up to date on the latest technology.
7. Good understanding of RESTful architecture and asynchronous programming.
8. Comprehensive knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Helm charts, and ArgoCD.
Bonus points if you have:
9. Experience with design patterns, UML, algorithmic thinking, multi-threading, and distributed systems.
10. Experience with integration patterns on Microsoft Azure (Event Hub, Azure Functions, API Management, Web API Apps, etc.).
11. Knowledge of C++.
12. Experience with cloud services, preferably Azure
13. Knowledge of automation tools like Azure Devops, Terraform, or Ansible.
