In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern

machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.

SABCA Brussels is also the home to our "Unmanned Autonomous Systems" aka: the drones solutions unit!

Key Responsibilities

At a corporate level, the Customer Bid Consolidation Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the bidding and customer support processes. This includes:

1. Bid Management & Business Case Consolidation

1. Act as a sparring partner for Bid Managers (Program Managers & Business Developers) throughout the bidding process, from RFQ to contract finalization.
2. Validate and challenge data provided by other teams.
3. Assist in financial offer preparation, including costing models.
4. Establish and consolidate Business Cases, ensuring financial viability.
5. Conduct sensitivity and risk analysis evaluations.
6. Develop customer templates in a timely manner.
7. Propose Terms & Conditions, Exclusions & Assumptions evaluation.
8. Participate in prospection, negotiation, and contractualization processes.
9. Audit procedure compliance across business units and ensure costing principles are well communicated.
10. Suggest organizational, functional, and system optimizations.
11. Provide management dashboards and KPI tracking.
12. Maintain certification compliance (EN, AS, etc.).

2. Customer Support & Order Management

13. Be the main point of contact for Airbus regarding spare parts orders.
14. Register Airbus orders in SAP S4 as sales orders.
15. Coordinate internal teams (design office, manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain) to manage delivery issues.
16. Ensure continuous follow-up of spare part deliveries and provide Airbus with regular updates.
17. Define delivery priorities to improve on-time performance.
18. Assist Airbus with necessary documentation and ensure compliance with contractual pricing and delivery terms.
19. Conduct quarterly KPI analysis to identify process improvements.

Profile

20. Higher education in Commercial or Engineering-related fields (Commercial Engineer, Master of Science in Engineering).
21. 1-5 years of relevant professional experience.
22. Strong knowledge of B2B contracts and legal aspects in a technical environment.
23. Analytical mindset with business and contractual sense.
24. Project management & account management approach.
25. Ability to understand technical issues & industrial environments.
26. Hands-on attitude with a strategic vision.
27. Continuous improvement mindset.
28. Capacity to define specifications for process or system changes.
29. Fluent in French or Dutch and English.
