PpLabcorp is seeking an onsite Lab Systems Support Administrator to join our new CMC facility in Mechelen, Belgium. /p pThis position will provide technical computer support, including problem solving, tracking, and issue resolution. The position will include application administration support across LabCorp Business Units in coordination with multiple Computer Application Support/Application Administrator positions. /p h3Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liThe position will function on a regional level and global level /li liAct as an application SME resource for end users /li liProvide technical troubleshooting support and issue resolution for assigned computer applications and associated lab instruments /li liLead and co‑ordinate resolution to technical and business process issues as related to assigned computer applications /li liInfluence System Lifecycle Specialists on a regular basis to ensure smooth and appropriate transition of new computer applications. /li liLead business meetings where appropriate to ensure business user’s needs are being met. /li liDocument discussions, issues, recommendations, and resolutions related to supported applications /li liCommunicate technical issues and resolutions with users and share information with the Business Unit /li liUnderstand and maintain a high level of functional subject matter expertise and help to manage changing requirements /li liResponsible for training or confirming training of users in assigned computer systems /li liWork with users to fine tune functionality /li liOptimize business processes and application functionality /li liWork with users to expand deployment of applications to other departments and business units /li liAssists Manager with process to ensure a coordinated and unified approach for all managed applications /li liPerform other related duties as assigned /li /ul h3Regulatory Focused /h3 ul liManage user access to the application including addition, modification, review, and removal of accounts as appropriate /li liPerform periodic reviews of user access /li liEstablish, track, and maintain errors and performance in change control forms and logs /li liProvide application documentation for client and regulatory audits /li liEnsure responses to audit findings are completed as assigned by IT Compliance /li liValidate and perform user testing including the process design tests to challenge the software, and documenting results/installations as required by GLPs and/or SOPs /li liWrite, approve, and perform qualification and other testing required to ensure application functionality /li liArchive validation documentation /li liCreate, manage, and archive application documentation and data /li liWork with users to generate and review Application SOP’s /li liWork with users to create, review, and update application user manual(s) and System Usability Documents (SUD) /li /ul h3IT Focused /h3 ul liHelp develop efficient and effective processes to ensure good communication between the business units and Information Technology (IT) staff. /li liManage escalation of technical issues to IT /li liManage escalation of issues to application vendors /li liMaintain application configurations which can be controlled within the application /li liAssist in retirement and/or decommissioning of applications /li liEnsure updates are made to the global systems inventory for applications /li liCoordinate release of new versions of the application into production including completing the Release into Production Checklist /li liDevelop business scenarios to test the application /li liVerify installation and operation of the application /li liDocument analysis and/or testing related to infrastructure changes. (e.g. operating system patches, significant network changes) /li liParticipate in validation projects for assigned applications (e.g. requirements analysis, validation and regression testing, process analysis, deployment) /li liCreate and maintain change control forms and logs /li liInterfacing and qualification of instruments to the application and first line support for instruments/instrument controllers /li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liBSc (Hons) scientific degree /li li2 or more years experience /li li3 or more years of experience working with MS Word, MS Excel, computerized data acquisition systems /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Biology or (bio)Chemistry /li li2 or more years of experience in an IT systems support role in a GLP or GMP environment /li li1 or more years of experience with scientific applications like Chromeleon, Softmax Pro, SoloVPE, PharmSpec, Veeva. /li /ul h3Additional Job Standards /h3 ul liKnowledge of laboratory operations, study design and equipment used in lab environment. /li liKnowledge of business processes and of main data collection and analysis applications (i.e. NG/Pristima and Tox Reporting). /li liKnowledge of GXPs and regulatory agency guidelines. /li liKnowledge in the management of small business projects /li liFluent knowledge of English and Dutch /li liRequires attention to detail and strong organizational skills. /li liDemonstrated ability to interact effectively with all staff and management levels. /li liDemonstrated problem solving and decision making skills. /li liAbility to work as a productive, contributing team member. /li liPossess strong communication skills /li liAbility to follow priorities and timelines /li liAbility to work independently, with a study team, and lead small teams. /li /ul pLabcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
