Your Mission As a Supply Chain Manager, you coordinate the Supply Chain scope within a matrix organization. You report directly to the Plant Manager, and functionally to the Head of Supply Chain. You are the direct manager of the Supply Chain team in the plant. As a Supply Chain Manager, you are the local process owner of the following processes: Supply Chain. Your Responsibilities In your scope of responsibility, you ensure that the activities are done according to customer, internal, and external requirements. You define the strategy and department organization to meet the company’s and plant’s objectives. You ensure the organization’s alignment in budget and performance (KPIs). You coordinate the efforts for the inbound, outbound, and production planning processes. You define methods and support best practice sharing and lessons learned. You continuously look for opportunities for improvement and take leadership in the lean culture. You build and maintain business relationships with customers and suppliers. You communicate regularly with the stakeholders regarding performance and KPIs. You organize the shop floor activities, using a continuous improvement methodology. You ensure the basics of Supply Chain are covered and respected in the plant. You proactively address customer evolutions. You lead, empower, and support your direct reports. You are responsible for safety in your scope of activity. You act as the organization authority for staff planning of Logistics (including holiday planning, qualification, etc.). Your Profile You have a university degree/diploma in Logistics or in a related field. You have at least 5 years of experience in a logistics environment. You have e xperience of 2 years in a management role. Functional Competencies Knowledge of the automotive market is an advantage (JIS). Good knowledge of the applicable IATF 16949 and ISO 14001/45001 principles if applicable. You’re fluent in the local language and English. You have excellent MS Office skills. You have the skills to guide, motivate, develop, and monitor your direct reports. You have an affinity towards IT technology and the digitalization of logistics processes You have a track record of improving logistics flows and processes You have a continuous improvement mindset.
