Role Overview
You will be at the intersection of Scientific Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Execution, playing a central role in the company’s European expansion.
Your core focus will be to build strong scientific credibility and secure market access by engaging with KOL, laboratories, and regulatory stakeholders, and by driving product validation and inclusion in national programs.
The remaining part of your role will focus on strengthening distributor capabilities through technical training, certification programs, and the implementation of high-quality support standards across markets.
Over time, you will progressively contribute to broader commercial and strategic initiatives, including key account support, tenders, and country-specific market access strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Scientific Leadership & Market Access: Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), laboratories, regulators, and academic partners; lead scientific collaborations and support product validation and acceptance in key European markets.
* Scientific Communication & Positioning: Drive the generation and dissemination of scientific evidence through publications, field studies, and participation in conferences and industry groups.
* Market Access Execution: Support inclusion of solutions in national milk testing and payment programs and monitor regulatory developments to guide internal strategy.
* Technical Training & Distributor Enablement: Design and deliver structured training programs; develop certification pathways and practical tools (SOPs, troubleshooting guides, e-learning modules) to ensure high technical standards across markets.
* Distributor Performance Management: Evaluate distributor technical capabilities, implement improvement plans, and ensure consistent service quality and messaging.
* Cross-functional Collaboration (evolving scope): Work closely with Sales, R&D, QA/RA, and Marketing teams to address technical challenges and align scientific, regulatory, and commercial activities.
* Customer & Business Support (evolving scope): Contribute to onboarding of key accounts, support strategic tenders, and monitor product adoption and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
Education: Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences (e.g. microbiology, veterinary science, food safety, diagnostics or related field)
Experience:
* 5–10 years of experience in Scientific Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, or technical roles
* Experience in diagnostics, food industry, or similar analytical environments
* Proven experience working with KOLs, laboratories, and regulatory stakeholders
* Exposure to validation studies, field trials, or scientific publications
Technical & Business Skills
* Strong understanding of scientific validation and data generation processes
* Good knowledge of regulatory and market access frameworks in Europe
* Experience in technical training, distributor support, or customer-facing roles
* Ability to connect scientific activities with commercial impact
Soft Skills
* Strong influencing and relationship-building capabilities
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific topics
* Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on, operational approach
* Autonomous, proactive, and solution‑oriented
* Comfortable working in international, multi‑stakeholder environments
Other Requirements
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
* Willingness to travel across Europe (up to 30%)
