To be in charge of the PI AVMs Flow and area of the warehouse PI Bruges.
Main responsibilities:
General:
* Be the contact person in Bruges for PI Logistic subjects.
Retrofit/Warranty:
* Set up and maintain a process to transfer AVM’s to the PI M7DD depots and PI Bruges :
* Process to be set up together with the GSI Key Users
* Make sure the process is followed correctly
* Coordinate the AVM and Warranty needs from the depots (KKP, Melle & Hasselt)
* Manage the requests in PI ERP (MAXIMO)
* Manage the availability of parts/ kits for PI
* Manage the missing parts and provide a date of delivery
* Coordinate & manage the AVM needs for the CM3 in Bruges
Manage a logistic person in the WH team in Bruges:
* Ensure the storage of materials, guarantee the quantities stored and the correct storage conditions
* Ensure the material availability, integrity & delivery on time on PI warehouses.
* Manage the material flows of his area (reception, put away, kitting, mirror area, shipping) to always keep physical and system flows aligned
* Ensure the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution is implemented and correctly used by Logistics operators
* Work closely with Warehouse manager to manage the stock according to the core model and to train Logistics operators.
* Monitor & challenge the performance of his area activity through Key Performance Indicators.
* Actively contributes to the Continuous Improvement activities & APSYS roadmap (APSYS=Alstom Transport Production System) on his own area
Operational activities:
* Participate to the PI warehouse (Bruges) layout and optimize the storage space
* Contribute to the implementation of area in the warehouse of PI to optimize line feeding activities (Kanban flow, sequence …)
* Manage his area: material receipt, inbound transportation, stock entry, picking and kitting, packing, shipping, outbound transportation, inventory accuracy.
* Manage the respect of any specific storage regulations (chemicals, battery, …)
* Ensure the continually improvement of the PI organisation & processes
In case of 3PL (logistic activities totally or partially outsourced):
* Ensure that the 3PL and his employees operates in an environment that complies with Alstom’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
* If the 3PL works in Alstom’s ERP, ensure that is correctly implemented and used by the 3PL
* Participate in all monthly, weekly and daily meetings with the 3PL
* Manage 3PLs that are in charge of the external stock (KPIs review, steering committee, monitor activities, …)
Operational activities (towards 3PL):
* Guarantee follow-up and performance of 3PL activities through KPIs
* Analyse the Root Causes of any logistic issues and agree with the internal stakeholders and the Management of the 3PL on corrective actions. Follow up on these actions and participate in their realization
