Their finance function is based near Antwerp, with additional operational hubs across the country. As part of their ongoing evolution, they’re investing in finance talent to support growth, bring structure, and build stronger bridges between finance and the business.


📌 The Role: Senior Business Controller

📍 Location: Based near Antwerp – with flexibility to be close to the business when needed

🧭 Reporting to: CFO


🌐 International exposure: Close alignment with a global finance community

In this role, you’ll support both strategic and operational decision-making through financial insight and analysis. You’ll work closely with the CFO and act as a key business partner to senior stakeholders across multiple functions and sites.


Your responsibilities will span across reporting, forecasting, budgeting, process improvement, and business partnering — with the opportunity to take on a highly visible and impactful role within a transforming finance team.


What You’ll Be Doing

* Drive the financial planning and reporting cycles in close collaboration with senior stakeholders
* Translate numbers into business language and actionable insights
* Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives
* Improve reporting flows, optimize tools, and help build scalable financial processes
* Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and a sparring partner for local leadership
* Support change, structure, and growth — with space to shape the role as you go


🧬 Who We’re Looking For

You’re a financial talent with a strong sense of ownership and an eagerness to connect the dots between data, people, and strategy. You’re comfortable in een hands-on environment, you bring structure where others see chaos, and you feel energized when you can bring clarity and direction.

A background in financial consulting or audit (Big 4 or equivalent) can be a strong foundation — especially if you're now looking to take a next step closer to the business, with more autonomy and tangible impact.


🔑 You’ll likely bring

* A solid background in finance, controlling, or consulting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A natural sense of curiosity, critical thinking, and proactivity
* Fluency in Dutch, French and English
* The ability to operate with flexibility, discretion, and accountability
