EPRA Indexes & Research Internship DescriptionEPRA offers various Internships throughout the year depending on experience, qualifications and closeness to Brussels. The current offered internship is for a period of 6 months, starting from 15 August 2025 (end of August 2025 at the latest) until 15 February (1 March) 2026. Candidates may be Undergraduates in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Management or similar with a maximum of 2 years work experience or Postgraduates with a Master’s degree.The Indexes & Research internship offers a great opportunity to learn about listed real estate and gain knowledge and experience in financial and economic analysis, identify main drivers and challenges as well as learn about the key trends in the industry.Additionally, you will gain the skills of using key financial databases (e.g. Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters).This is a paid internship (which also includes a public transport reimbursement) in accordance with our Organisation policy.Internship Description· The main activities will include assisting the research team with analysis and publication of sector-specific research papers (e.g. Office and Residential) and applied research projects (e.g. listed real estate and optimal asset allocation). Examples of recent research available here.· Responsible for collecting historical data for all the relevant variables using databases like Bloomberg, Eikon, Reuters Knowledge and S&P Global.· Help on the statistical analysis applying models and tools in Excel and VBA.· Test data sets and reports generated from the database against historic Excels.· Assist research team in updating and refining complex Excel Models and publications (NAV, LTV, MSB).· Assist the team in tracking and analysing companies publishing annual or periodic reports as part of the FTSE EPRA Nareit Global Index Series review process.· Assist Project Manager in identifying corrupt or missing historic data and “backfill” with correct data.· Test new modules created as part of outgoing projects, under the direction of the project manager and identify any data gaps/user interface issues. We are looking for: · Strong academic results· Strong numerical and analytical skills · Ability to solve problems and to prioritise tasks· Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work within diverse organizations and teams. A degree in either Finance, Economics or Real Estate. · Basic programming skills, VBA desirable. Knowledge of QGIS or any other mapping software is an advantage. · Excellent Excel skills. Knowledge of financial databases and vendors like Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters Eikon would be advantageous. · An excellent command of English language. · Fluency in other European languages and knowledge of statistical/econometrical software is a plus. · Motivated and keen to learn about listed real estate, corporate finance and portfolio management. · Based in or within commuting distance of Brussels.Please send your CV and a 1-page cover letter in a single document by Friday, 20 June 2025 to m.perez@epra.com.
