You will report to the Head of Legal and collaborate closely with business leaders, HR, finance, and operational teams across our different brands. In this national role, you combine legal rigor with pragmatism and business understanding.

Your Responsibilities as a Corporate Lawyer
Legal Counsel – Social & Employment Law
Provide expert and pragmatic advice on Belgian employment and social law, including temporary agency work, prohibited secondment, salary conditions, and collective matters.
Support HR and Compensation & Benefits teams on employment regulations, dismissals, settlements, works council and CPBW functioning.
Follow up on social inspections, internally and with clients, in close collaboration with operational teams.
Proactively monitor legal developments and translate legislative changes into clear internal communication, newsletters, and training sessions.
Act as contact person for external law firms in litigation or dispute procedures and monitor case progress.
Commercial Law & Contract Management
Review, draft, and pragmatically negotiate commercial contracts with clients, freelancers, subcontractors, suppliers, and landlords.
Support business teams in managing disputes and discussions with customers and partners.
Update framework agreements, general terms and conditions, and commercial templates in line with legal evolutions and business needs.
Screen national and international agreements and public tenders.
Risk Management, Governance & Projects
Detect and assess legal risks (liability, claims, insurance, compliance) and define mitigation strategies together with the Head of Legal and senior stakeholders.
Support internal risk management and compliance initiatives, including GDPR, discrimination prevention, and IT security alignment.
Provide first-line advice on diverse legal matters such as consumer law, seizure law, and fiscal aspects.
Your Profile
Master’s degree in Law.
Strong knowledge of Belgian social and employment law, combined with a solid understanding of commercial law .
Relevant experience in a law firm and/or as in-house legal counsel.
Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset with strong legal reflexes and risk awareness.
Confident in negotiations and comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Team player with autonomy, transparency, and accountability.
Professional proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.
Experience in HR services or the temporary employment sector is a plus, but not mandatory.
