Role Overview
The NATO GovSat Service Delivery Manager is a critical role within the Joint Service Delivery Office, responsible for championing user needs and serving as the primary communication channel for NATO Satcom Services. The incumbent will work closely with stakeholders to capture requirements and manage delivery according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage all Service Delivery aspects of satellite services provided by Luxembourg Defence to NATO users.
* Provide specialist operational planning support for GOVSAT services during complex NATO scenario planning.
* Evaluate and resolve problems to User satisfaction when faults/complaints are reported.
* Liaise with Engineering/Solutions teams for the specification, design, development, testing, and acceptance of new hardware and software systems.
* Maximise utilisation and NATO User satisfaction regarding satellite services.
Requirements
* 10 years of experience in a relevant or similar position, with at least 2 years of work experience in the Telecommunication Industry (experienced technician).
* Experience in operating satellite platforms, including VSAT and associated systems.
* Good knowledge of satellite communications techniques, architecture, and protocols, SHF/UHF operations, RF Geolocation, IT/IP networking, and/or systems, platforms, and internet infrastructure.
