leads the regional Business Banking for Large Companies in Region West, Kortrijk, and is part of the Leadership team of Business Banking Sales Region West. Responsibilities
Steer and develop the Relationship Advisory Team within the Kortrijk region; build solid relationships with top clients; be deeply integrated in the local network; maintain excellent relations with external stakeholders; be the face of ING in the market to enhance ING’s position as main bank, improve market penetration and increase revenues while ensuring compliance with ING’s policies and risk appetite. Focus on building synergies with product lines (Financial Markets, ING Lease & Comfin, Private banking, and others). The team, under the leadership of the Director Large Companies, will focus on the Midcorporate segment. Implement omnichannel advice for all customers in the Relationship segment. Support development of advice delivery to (potential) clients, e.g. remote advice, to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Optimize collaboration with and lead-generation between ING's segments & products. Create positive visibility for ING in BC Kortrijk Region through active stakeholder management and networking. Key Result Areas
Sales management: analyze local market positioning; set directives to increase primary relationships, NPS and financial results; drive the sales force to execute the global segment strategy and yearly objectives. Objectives include increasing Lending, Deposit, Financial Markets Products & Payments volumes; increasing fee business and revenues; new client acquisition; increase NPS. Proactively use tools and campaigns defined by the segment. Manage (functionally) the team of sales and services officers (with regional team leader) to provide effective sales support for Relationship Managers. Set and achieve ambitious client & business growth targets for the region; develop strong relationships with key clients and participate in key/complex transactions. End responsibility for the Clients in scope and P&L ownership for the Relationship segment in the geographical area BC Kortrijk. People management: inspires and motivates the commercial team of Relationship Managers and Transaction Service Consultants (hierarchically) and Sales & Services Officers (functionally); manage recruitment, mobility, training & development, reward and retention; provide feedback and coaching; ensure good communication within the Team and with peers. Safe & Compliant: deliver a safe and secure advice experience compliant with internal (e.g. KYC) and external rules; responsible for KYC compliance including risk overdue and risk appetite; credit risk management to ensure correct application of Credit Risk policy; participate in credit decision processes with Risk Management. Change management: foster a positive and constructive attitude towards change; align with the Orange Code when new ways of working, new products, or new channels are implemented. Collaboration: drive cross-segment cooperation with other commercial segments (retail, private banking); ensure optimal collaboration with product departments (FM, Commercial Finance, ING Lease, corporate finance, PCM); coordinate with stakeholders such as Customer Loyalty Teams, Credit Risk Management, KYC teams, etc. Networking: build a network among key clients and represent the bank in the Kortrijk area and external organizations (e.g., VOKA, NBB FIFO). University degree Extensive knowledge of the ING organization Credit risk management Knowledge of ING products, services and processes Experience
At least ten years working experience, preferably in Business Banking / Corporate Sales Proven track record in sales including client acquisition/management Proven track record in people management Experience with other segments or in other business lines is an asset Familiar with or ready to invest in getting affinity with the local economy and region Skills
