As the Cybersecurity Operations Manager, you will take on the role of team leader within the information security office, reporting to the IT Director Europe. This is a critical management position needed to bring greater maturity and experience to the team. Security Implementation & Response: You implement and configure system alerts, react to data breaches and help ensure the highest standards for IT security (projects) are implemented and maintained.
Monitoring & Vulnerability: You review and respond to possible vulnerability issues, set up and follow up monitoring tools, and conduct daily monitoring of the key infrastructure / compliance monitoring activities.
Team Leadership & Guidance: You ensure there are clear guidelines, work instructions and standards in place within the team, to ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively across global teams by supporting urgent requests, demonstrating flexibility with your availability, and managing your workload and schedule proactively. You’ll also communicate internally about security exposures, threats, misuses, ….
Vendor Management: You’ll partner with vendors to manage proof of concepts and assist in the implementation of new security systems and devices.
Security Frameworks: Working knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO, CIS, CoBit).
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity.
Experience in cloud environment and experience relevant to the tasks described.
Have a first experience managing a direct report in a similar role.
Strong analytical profile, with the ability to communicate complex and technical information towards stakeholders, business and leadership.
A cooperative mindset: gather information from different departments, build trust and ensure new guidelines are followed by teams.
Experience in managing cybersecurity projects.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the biotech industry.
