To support the continuous growth of our Flooring division, we're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic
Business Controller Wood to reinforce our controlling team in Wielsbeke, and who is also willing to travel to our plants in Romania and Malaysia.
Your responsibilities:
* You are supporting the financial follow-up, reporting and analysis of the full Wood P&L (with large focus on manufacturing cost), CAPEX and inventory.
* You execute the monthly closing process which includes consolidating the financials of both manufacturing plants. You shed light on monthly variances from standard and their origin.
* You play an important part in the yearly budgeting and recurring forecast process.
* You act as a business partner for different stakeholders:
* Wood management team (Belgian based)
* Plant management and local finance teams (Romania and Malaysia)
* Corporate finance (Belgian based)
* You assure our processes are SOX compliant.
* You support the management team with analysis of strategic projects, business cases, investments projects, new product development…
* You assist local finance teams (plant based) with further set-up and automation of reports and proactively adapt reporting to the changing needs of the business.
* The job is Belgium based but with strong international dimension (with occasional visits to our manufacturing plants in Romania and Malaysia).
* You will be part of the business controlling team, reporting to our Finance Director Modular Flooring International.
Who are you?
* You have a master's degree in Economics and have experience as a Controller, preferably in a production environment.
* You are entrepreneurial and willing to take initiative and have a pro-active and pragmatic attitude.
* You have excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset. You have strong Excel skills, SAP is a plus.
* You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills, but you are also able to work independently.
* You like to work in a demanding environment with strict deadlines and numerous stakeholders in a global organization.
