To strengthen our Finance & Tax team, we are looking for a Direct Tax Expert eager to grow and make a difference.
Challenges we trust you with
* Tax Compliance
o Oversee and prepare the filing of corporate income tax returns and other direct tax filings for various jurisdictions.
o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
o Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
* Transfer Pricing
o Development and implementation of effective transfer pricing strategy and ensure compliance with laws.
o Analyze the tax implications of business transactions and provide recommendations to optimize tax positions.
o Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, legal, sale) to integrate tax strategy into overall business strategies.
* Tax Audits and Disputes
o Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from government tax authorities.
o Prepare documentation and analysis to support the company's positions during tax audits.
o Work on resolving tax disputes.
* Research and Analysis
o Conduct thorough research on various tax issues, including international tax and transfer pricing, as needed.
o Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and the finance team regarding tax status and strategies.
* Collaboration and Communication
o Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants to ensure thorough tax compliance and utilize best practices.
o Communicate tax policies and implications effectively to stakeholders within the organization.
* Monitoring and Reporting
o Monitor and track tax-related metrics and provide regular updates to senior management.
o Prepare detailed tax forecasting and budgeting analyses to inform financial planning.
What We Value
* Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s or MBA preferred)
* 5+ years’ experience in direct tax, tax planning, or transfer pricing
* Strong knowledge of corporate and international tax
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Fluent in English and French; SAP S/4HANA is a plus
