About ADLC
ADLC is an Antwerp-based start-up revolutionizing drone logistics. Founded in 2021, we
achieved the world's first dangerous-goods drone transport in a port environment in 2024. Today,
we operate daily express drone transport services in the Port of Antwerp and proudly hold the
"2024 Supply Chain Start-Up of the Year" title. Our mission is to scale our services and set the
standard in drone-based logistics.
To achieve this, we are expanding our team and looking for a maintenance engineer to play a
key role in our growing drone delivery network. As a maintenance engineer at ADLC, you will
be at the forefront of cutting-edge logistics, helping to shape the future of automated transport.
You will work hands-on with our fleet, ensuring seamless operations and safe flights. If you're

The Role
As our Maintenance Engineer, you will:
* Perform & coordinate maintenance on drones, including diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades.
* Maintain and troubleshoot ground infrastructure, such as drone hubs, antennas, charging stations, and other support equipment.
* Assist the crew during new project deployments in and outside Belgium, including support to test new drone models and setting up new delivery routes.
* Supervise pre-flight checks and ground handling crew to ensure all safety protocols are followed.
* Monitor drone and equipment performance, responding to technical challenges in real time.
* Collaborate with the operations team to improve system reliability and efficiency.
* Work on-site in Antwerp (primary) and Sint-Truiden (secondary), as well as in other locations as new routes are developed.
Who You Are
* You demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and thrive in a culture where safety is a
shared priority.
* You have a technical background (e.g., Aviation, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or
similar).
* You hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Technology, or you have equivalent hands-on
experience in maintenance, preferably in aviation or a comparable technical field.
* Experience with drone systems is a strong plus.
* You are fluent in English and in Dutch, both written and spoken.
* You are proactive, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
* You enjoy solving real-world technical challenges and learning new tools and systems.
* You have a Belgian driver's license for Category B.
