Job Description:
As a Technical Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding the Life Cycle Services (LCS) sales team in our region. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide them with tailored solutions. Your primary focus will be on selling change parts, spare parts, second-hand machines, trainings, maintenance contracts, services, consumables, and upgrades for our installed base.
You will play a key role in maintaining and developing customer relationships, from initial contact to final acceptance and payment of the investment. You will also work with a strong Project Management and Back Office team to ensure seamless execution of sales activities.
Your responsibilities will include building strong alliances with existing customers, scouting for leads and opportunities, executing sales strategies, and analyzing customer needs to submit accurate and timely offers.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have commercial and project management experience in an industrial environment, specifically in the food and beverage industry. You should also have a strong technical background, including mechanical and electrical knowledge.
A master's or bachelor's degree with a technical orientation is required. You should be fluent in English and French, and knowledge of German is a plus. You should also be proficient in SAP and Salesforce, and have experience in utilizing data to come up with new commercial opportunities.
In addition to your technical skills, you should possess excellent communication and networking skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
