Job Title: Industrial Efficiency Specialist
About the Role
This position involves ensuring optimal performance and reliability of production lines through effective maintenance strategies, prompt troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will play a key role in achieving high product quality, minimizing maintenance costs, and contributing to overall safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Improve the reliability and uptime of a fully automated production line by defining and implementing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
2. Ensure routine maintenance is performed promptly and respond swiftly to equipment failures.
3. Analyze problems and devise solutions working with automation equipment such as PLCs, HMIs, robots, and drives.
4. Identify spare parts requirements and oversee their procurement.
5. Collaborate closely with technicians, providing necessary training to enhance their proficiency.
6. Oversight and monitoring of maintenance costs, prioritization of scheduled and unscheduled repairs, and support for initiatives to improve health, safety, and environmental protocols.
7. Participation in continuous improvement activities will also be integral to your role.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
* Experience with robots, specifically Kuka and ABB.
* At least initial experience as an automation engineer in maintenance.
* Experience in the automotive or glass industry considered a plus but not required.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and a strong commitment to adhering to them.
* A flexible mindset and a willingness to learn or implement new techniques.
* Ability to work well with colleagues from various departments.
* Knowledge of PLC programming and ability to make adjustments as needed.
