Hays is looking for a Business Controller for a client in the sustainable goods sector. This international company develops innovative solutions that promote eco-friendly living and operates across multiple European markets. Your new role
As Business Controller, you will play a key role in steering financial performance and supporting strategic decisions. Your responsibilities include:
• Managing local profit and loss statements and leading financial analysis
• Preparing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and business plans
• Evaluating investment proposals and profitability
• Analyzing variances between planned and actual results
• Participating in operational reviews and performance discussions
• Collaborating with the shared service finance team on relevant topics
• Acting as a financial partner for Marketing, Sales, and Key Account Management
Your profile
You bring:
• Minimum 3 years experience in finance. And first experience in business controlling, ideally in the FMCG or food sector
• Preferably experience in a multinational or matrix organization
• A master’s degree in Finance or equivalent qualification
• Strong communication skills in Dutch, French, and English
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI is a strong plus
