You will join an international organisation that supports equipment leasing across Europe and Africa. The team combines market knowledge, risk expertise and strong customer focus. To support their growth, they are looking for an pricing specialist to strengthen the valuation and risk function.
Your new role
As a pricing analyst, you will play a key role in understanding, valuing, and monitoring both new and used equipment within the asset portfolio. You will help the organisation make informed decisions by assessing equipment value, analysing market trends, and managing residual value (RV) risks. You will work closely with colleagues in headquarters and with field teams across several European and African markets.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Valuation
Build a strong understanding of customer usage and equipment applications.
Develop knowledge of used‑equipment market prices across multiple regions.
Maintain and update value guidelines for different types of equipment.
Provide valuations for equipment returning at end‑of‑contract or in case of default.
Assess investment prices for new financing requests, taking into account local market differences and specific add‑ons.
Evaluate both new and used equipment for leasing requests.
Support ongoing improvement and automation of asset valuation processes.
Residual Value (RV) Setting & Monitoring
Act as first point of contact for field teams regarding RV evaluations.
Provide recommendations on equipment‑related risks to the credit committee.
Validate RVs at contract activation, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
Implement and coordinate RV guarantees and risk‑sharing mechanisms.
Review RV risk monthly for new business and annually for the full portfolio.
Contribute to quarterly RV risk provisions.
Track used‑equipment market price trends and compare them with internal RV calculations.
Maintain and update the RV calculation tool and communicate changes to sales teams in the field.
Asset Monitoring
Monitor equipment condition, usage, and location throughout the leasing period.
Check actual equipment usage versus contractual agreements.
Reporting
Prepare quarterly and yearly asset and risk reports on time.
Buy‑Back & Risk‑Sharing Agreements
Set up and follow up on buy‑back and risk‑sharing agreements with partners and distributors.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in remarketing, pricing or a leasing environment is a strong asset.
You are motivated to build and maintain a network both internally and externally.
Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
Knowledge of any other European language is an advantage.
Willingness to travel occasionally based on business needs.
