Head of Maintenance – Lessines Site Leadership Role
Join a site at the heart of innovation and operational excellence. We're looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Maintenance to lead our maintenance strategy and execution at our Lessines site. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our critical assets—while driving continuous improvement and sustainability across operations. As a key member of the site leadership team, you'll shape the future of maintenance and asset management, enabling production excellence and supporting our long-term growth.
What You'll Do
* Lead with purpose: Oversee all maintenance activities for facilities, equipment, utilities, and critical systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational readiness.
* Maximize performance: Drive equipment availability and reliability through strategic planning, preventive maintenance, and efficient execution of shutdowns.
* Champion improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance OEE, reduce waste, and optimize energy usage across the site.
* Be agile: Ensure fast, effective responses to unplanned events and operational challenges, fostering a culture of resilience and adaptability.
* Own the lifecycle: Manage CAPEX and oversee the full lifecycle of equipment—from acquisition to decommissioning.
* Optimize resources: Control budgets, manage contractors, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.
* Inspire teams: Build a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the maintenance function and across departments.
What You Bring
* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (Master's preferred).
* 8+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
* Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and utilities systems.
* Proven success in CAPEX management, budgeting, and cost optimization.
* Solid understanding of Lean, TPM, and operational excellence methodologies.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English and in French.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with multiple priorities.
