experienced in developing tools that enhance operational efficiency and improve sustainability. If you have a deep knowledge of programming and a passion for energy systems, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
* You develop an industrialized full-Python tool based on existing requirements and scripts.
* You will refactor, integrate and extend current scripts into a coherent, maintainable solution, ensuring it can be used reliably by power system engineers.
* You will focus on efficient, modular programming to handle large datasets, profile and optimise performance-critical parts, and document the code and workflow so that others can understand, maintain and extend it.
* You will collaborate closely with engineers to understand their current manual steps, translate these into automation logic and validate that the new tool fits operational needs.
What are we looking for?
* You have at least
6 years of experience
with Python-driven industrial software.
* You possess strong skills in
Python programming
.
* You bring analytical expertise in
engineering, mathematics, or physical science
.
* You have a strong ability to program efficiently, handling large amounts of data.
* You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity for modular programming.
* You have an excellent command of
English
and a basic knowledge of
French
and/or
Dutch
.
* You understand the fundamentals of electricity and electric power systems, including grid structure and load flow.
