Scientist Dissolution

Imagine your next project helping to bring new medication to patients worldwide by applying the latest scientific thinking in dissolution testing. As a Dissolution Scientist, you will design, plan, and follow-up on dissolution work to help the development of the best possible dosage form for the patient. You will take an active part in biopharmaceutical assessment strategies and the improvement of biorelevant methods.
Responsibilities
* Design, plan, and follow-up on dissolution work for immediate, modified, and targeted release formulations.
* Participate in technical and strategic meetings with colleagues in Beerse or different sites around the world.
* Represent the Dissolution Sciences team in a cross‑functional matrix environment including formulation development, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacology, quality assurance, and regulatory.
* Write and review technical and scientific documents.
* Contribute to the automation strategy within the team.
Qualifications
* PhD in a relevant field (Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical) or Master’s degree with 2 years of work experience.
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences relevant to the development of small molecule formulations, analytical chemistry, compliance and GMP.
* Good written and spoken communication in English.
* Experience with dissolution testing (QC and/or biorelevant) and dissolution method development is a plus.
* Experience in statistical or data modelling / DoE / MVA is a plus.
* Experience with laboratory automation is a plus.
* Knowledge of Dutch or willingness to learn the basics.
